Random rant
Crikey! It’s been a long time since I updated, again. And once again I’m sorry for any inconveniences
It’s just I really don’t have the time nor the strength to post something after school. It’s exhausting. We have a ton of stuff to do all the time and usually when I come from school I just sit for an hour, eat something and start doing my school stuff. And then go to bed at midnight or so. So this leaves me with no time to post something in the blog. But that’s that, some cool things have happened in the meantime and I want you guys and gals to know about them.
A few words about the school
As promised, this post is about my school. I will most probably be describing the organisational discipline, methods of study and more.
Also.. sorry for not posting for almost a week. I’ve been busy and a bit lazy
University of Manchester’s School of Computer Science prepares its students to outperform others in today’s ultra-demanding industry, give extensive knowledge about fundamental aspects of computer science and try to make learning all that as fun as possible. Although I haven’t met all my first year lecturers, lab-supervisors and teachers, I know that most of the staff are true believers in practical learning- all theory we learn must be tested out in real-life situations.

Oh my god. I am so sorry for not posting for some time now. It’s due to the fact that I’ve been incredibly busy. School, social life, more school and other ventures about which I will be soon writing about. I’ve also come up with a new writing scheme for myself- every evening I will write down current day’s bits and bobs, so that I don’t have to write 2 or 3 days’ worth of material in one evening. Neat, huh? It is, I know, thank you. And also, I will write a small script that will let you guys know when I am writing a new post. It’s a small widget that shows upcoming posts in the sidebar, so you’ll get some feedback and don’t have to sit waiting with your “eyes closed”.

Another two days have passed by- Sunday and Monday. Both have been very busy, very exhausting and also very interesting days. On Saturday I went to the Orientation Event held in the University Place. The event was meant for international students to get their gears going and life settled in here at Manchester. The lectures were interesting, but I already knew most of the topics they covered as I had been reading the Crucial Guide and Orientation Guide. “Fair enough”, I thought and went back to my campus. After about 10 minutes, Nick, my coursemate, started chatting with me on messenger. He said they’re going (with Alexa, her former classmate and now our coursemate) to the barbeque party held in the International Society. He asked if I wanted to go with them. “Yeah, why not”, I answered and we agreed on meeting in front of the IS at 1pm.

Right! So here I am- in Manchester. I’m thinking that I should first write about how I got here and how was my trip.
